This course combines the knowledge required to undertake both pre-purchase building inspections and pre-purchase timber pest inspections. 


The pre-purchase building inspector side....

The Pre-Purchase Building Inspection course will equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to undertake a detailed building inspection and produce professional reports for houses involved in property sales, as required by AS4349.3. You’ll learn pre-engagement procedures, inspection techniques, and report writing skill to ensure accurate and trusted reports are completed for your clients.

The pre-purchase pest inspector side....

The pest side of a pre-purchase building and pest inspection involves timber pests, as they cause the 'real' damage. The Pre-Purchase Pest Inspection course will equip you with the knowledge to undertake detailed timber pest inspections and reports for houses involved in property sales as required by AS4349.3. This course covers nationally accredited units CPPUPM3008 and CPPUPM3010. These units cover both treating and inspecting on timber pests, and even though you are only inspecting (and not treating), you must complete both to obtain Professional Indemnity insurance to conduct pre-purchase timber pest inspections.
