Pre-Purchase Residential Building Inspector

The Pre-Purchase Residential Building Inspector course is specifically designed for builders and building industry professionals who would like to use their knowledge and experience in the building inspection field as a pre-purchase building inspector. The course covers the skills required to conduct a thorough pre-purchase inspection and formulate the findings into a professional report.
* For students in all states and territories, excludes Queensland due to licensing requirements.

Pre-Purchase Residential Building Inspector (QLD)

Our 'Completed Residential Building Inspectors Course' allows you to develop and expand your building industry career into the pre-purchase building inspection field. The course is specifically deigned for building industry professionals (builders and tradesman) who would like to learn how to undertake a pre-purchase building inspection and then formulate the findings
into a professional report for your clients.
* For students in Queensland only due to licensing requirements.

Combined Pre-Purchase Residential Building and Pest Inspector

This combined course covers both pre-purchase building and timber pest inspections, giving you the knowledge and practical skills to carry out detailed inspections and produce professional reports for houses involved in property sales, as required by AS4349.3. The building side covers pre-engagement procedures, inspection techniques and report writing, while the pest side focuses on timber pests — the cause of the real damage — through the nationally accredited units CPPUPM3008 and CPPUPM3010. Both units deal with treating as well as inspecting, and although you'll only be inspecting, completing both is necessary to obtain the Professional Indemnity insurance required to conduct pre-purchase timber pest inspections.
