Here are some quick facts about our combined pest course!
Do you need advanced computer skills? Absolutely not! Our online learning platform is built of any level of user and guides you through each of the units you need to complete.
Is this course 100% online? Almost! The pest courses are about 90% online and 10% practical. You are required to fill out a practical workbook as part of the course and accompany a Pest Management Technician to a number of pest jobs.
How long will the course take? Approximately 100 hours. It should take you around 8-10 weeks to complete the course if you commit to studying a couple of hours per night after work.
The below pest management units will provide you with the knowledge required to identify and report on pest and termite activity within a property.
Please note that upon completion of the relevant pest units, students in all states are required to undertake practical experience with a licensed pest management technician.
Students will need to fill out a log book noting the set tasks they complete with their supervisor, as outlined within the pest course.
Students need to organise their own practical experience by contacting their local pest management technician and accompanying them to jobs.
